Emmett Till was born July 25, 1941 in Chicago, Illinois
He went to James McCosh Elementary School, an all black school
His parents were Mamie and Louis Till
He died August 28, 1955 at the age of 14
Emmett Till was the only child
Cause of his death: Tortured/ Murdered for whistling at Carolyn Bryant (a white lady)
